Major expansion in Visp for ten23 health!

The Basel-based company ten23 health announces the construction of two new sterile manufacturing lines. A superstructure of some 5'000 m2 that should already be completed by summer 2022 and will generate some 100 additional jobs in the canton!

Funded by 3i Group of London and based in Basel, Switzerland, CDMO, ten23 health, was launched in 2021. The company supports biotech startups and established pharmaceutical clients in the development of injectables.

In March 2022, ten23 health already acquired swissfillon, a Valais-based company and leader in sterile filling of complex pharmaceuticals, 6 months after its launch. This first development provided a boost to cope with the expected growth in sterile filling and finishing services and already included a construction project in Visp (Valais), including the addition of 1000 m2 of clean room space for visual inspection and cold storage and additional services, such as device assembly.

Today, ten23 health is doing it again, announcing a huge new construction for the summer. It is thus also strengthening its link with the canton.

5000 m2 more and new jobs!

With an additional building entirely dedicated to sterile manufacturing for the filling of syringes and ready-to-use cartridges, as well as for the filling of bulk vials and freeze-drying, the Basel-based company will have some 5,000 m2 in Upper Valais, spread over 4 floors.

This superstructure should already be completed by the summer of 2022. The plant should be operational in 2024 and will create more than 100 additional jobs in the canton.
