The PhytoArk technology site boasts a 1,500 m2 building constructed in 2013.
Located in Conthey, at the heart of central Valais, it enjoys a privileged setting nestled between agricultural plains and Alpine areas. Close to key partners like Agroscope and the HES-SO Valais-Wallis, PhytoArk promotes synergies between applied research, industrial innovation and local stakeholders.
This hub is built around specific expertise and features:
A plant extraction technology platform
Dedicated to the development and production of natural ingredients for use in cosmetics, food and nutraceuticals, and managed by Mediplant.
A cosmetic formulation laboratory
Managed by Phytosphere Swiss Lab for the design, testing and refinement of your natural care formulas.
A cosmetics production and packaging workshop
Operated by FOVAHM and certified in accordance with ISO 22716.
A space dedicated to start-ups
Providing a home for innovative start-ups in an environment conducive to their growth, with direct access to entrepreneurial, technological and financial support, in conjunction with the network of The Ark Foundation.
